HM Lawyers is proud to welcome Dr. Bob Jacobs to the firm as a part-time family law solicitor. Dr. Bob will be practising using a collaborative model aimed at reducing conflict, achieving solutions, and keeping people out of court, thereby saving them money, time and anguish.

This role will not affect any of Dr. Bob's current activities with The Parenting Centre as a clinical psychologist and mediator.

Dr. Bob Jacobs is an internationally renowned children’s advocate and has been very active in trying to improve the family law system. In addition to being a family law solicitor, Dr. Bob is a clinical psychologist (specializing in children and families) and a Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. He runs The Parenting Centre, which is known throughout SE Queensland as a top provider of services to children and families, and he is the author of "Perfect Parents, Perfect Children: Changing the World by Celebrating Our Perfection".

As a solicitor, Dr. Bob will use a collaborative model to help individuals seek child-focused solutions to their disputes and move towards healing and positive co-parenting. His unique blend of qualifications and experience make him exceptionally well suited for advising on parenting plans and dispute resolution.
